ABSTRACT. Wei notes that strategic human resource management (SHRM) is a strategic approach to manage human resources of an organization. Geare et al. affirm that the reliance on data from only one HRM constituency can produce misleading performance assessment results. Chatterjee argues that a primary role of Indian managers is to forge new employment and industrial relationships through purposeful HRM policies and practices.
