ABSTRACT. The purpose of this paper is to gain a deeper understanding of the nexus between the internationalization of higher education, the interdependence of EGM universities through trans-national activities, the changing academic landscape, the intensity of knowledge production, and links between entrepreneurial activity in universities and the knowledge economy. My paper contributes to the literature by providing evidence on the nexus between the management of EGM universities, university success in entrepreneurialism, the relationship between teaching and research in universities, and the interface of research and technology/knowledge transfer. pp. 251–257
