ABSTRACT. Maier claims that Member States are responsible for setting up a system of ongoing evaluation and for providing the human and financial resources necessary to carry out the respective evaluations. Thompson holds that agricultural policy is a central factor in determining land management regimes on common land. Vidican explains that the post-socialist countries underwent dramatic changes in agricultural land ownership and production system.
