ABSTRACT. The aim of the present study is to examine and evaluate gender disparity in the labor market, the prime human capital drivers of men’s and women’s wages, and the determinants of the gender wage gap. This research makes conceptual and methodological contributions to the gender configuration of the labor force, the magnitude of employment discrimination by gender, and the extent and diverseness of the gender earnings gap. pp. 128–134
