ABSTRACT. This paper aims to analyze and discuss sources of social constructionism, moderate types of social constructionism that are consistent with realism, the social construction of the subject, and the socially shared composition of reality. My paper contributes to the literature by providing evidence on the social and cognitive processes entailed in the articulation of reality, the transformative objectives of social constructionism, the social formation of organizational identity, and anti-realist types of constructionism. pp. 56–61
