ABSTRACT. The title of this paper mentions humor and esoteric religion. Neither is commonly treated in philosophy. Only the linguistic aspect of esoteric religion is taken into account in what follows. It’s the only aspect prominent in Wittgenstein’s writings. And it’s an aspect that is understandable – if not acceptable – to students of Wittgenstein from what they already know of him. pp. 87–104

Keywords: humor, esoteric, religion, Wittgenstein, linguistic, philosophy
