ABSTRACT. Dummett claims that, on a holistic view, no model for the individual content of a sentence can be given; the way the truth of logically complex statements are determined in classical model theory is important. Habermas describes a normative role for journalists and media practitioners in relation to genuine public opinion. In a normative sense, journalism is regarded as an essential part in the processes of democracy and social change (Hanitzsch et al.).
