ABSTRACT. Employing recent research results covering Internet of Things-based health monitoring systems, and building my argument by drawing on data collected from Accenture, HBR, PAC, and Zebra Technologies, I performed analyses and made estimates regarding artificial intelligence applications that could change healthcare and preparedness of medtech companies towards maintaining the cybersecurity of connected medical devices. Structural equation modeling was used to analyze the collected data.
