ABSTRACT. Anthropology as conceived by Kant is a broad-based inquiry into the nature of human beings in general, and a discipline that is empirical and pragmatic. Kant deals with some of the same themes and concepts of his critical philosophy, such as self-consciousness, taste, and the highest good.
