THE ROLE OF SOCIAL FACTORS IN THE CREATIVE PROCESS
AUREL PERAABSTRACT. The main objective of this paper is to explore and describe the links between emotion and creativity, the importance of creativity for individuals, organizations, and societies, the development of the social psychology of creativity, and interactional mechanisms that occur when creativity is distributed throughout a group. Applying new conceptual and methodological approaches, this study advances to the next level research on the cognitive and motivational processes that lead to creative ideas, the relation between creativity and intelligence, the developmental continuum of creativity, and the role of collaboration and context in creativity. pp. 207–212
