LOGIC AND TRUTH IN FREGE
SEBASTIAN BLENDEAABSTRACT. For Frege, facts are simply true thoughts, and their role in the service of a correspondence theory as grounders of truth is rejected. One cannot require that everything shall be defined, any more than one can require that a chemist shall decompose every substance. The question why and with what right we acknowledge a law of logic to be true, logic can answer only by reducing it to another law of logic.
