ABSTRACT. The theory that I shall seek to elaborate here puts considerable emphasis on Wittig’s understanding of lesbian, her literary and theoretical representations of lesbian passion, sexuality, and politics, and her urging on the vast capacity of becoming-other in the area of lesbian desire. The purpose of this article is to gain a deeper understanding of Wittig’s use of “inversion,” her fluctuations on metamorphosis, and her positive evaluation of the natural world. pp. 72–77
