Big Data-driven Decision-Making Processes for Environmentally Sustainable Urban Development: The Design, Planning, and Operation of Smart City Infrastructure
Stacy HodgkinsABSTRACT. Empirical evidence on the design, planning, and operation of smart city infrastructure has been scarcely documented in the literature. Using and replicating data from ESI ThoughtLab, McKinsey, Osborne Clarke, Phillips, and SmartCitiesWorld, I performed analyses and made estimates regarding big data-driven decision-making processes for environmentally sustainable urban development. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling.
