ABSTRACT. We draw on a substantial body of theoretical and empirical research on smart factory performance, cognitive automation, and industrial big data analytics in sustainable manufacturing Internet of Things, and to explore this, we inspected, used, and replicated survey data from BDV, EEF, LNS Research, Management Events, McKinsey, Ovum, Plex Systems, PAC, and PwC, performing analyses and making estimates regarding intelligent processing capabilities, automation technologies, and decision support algorithms in smart industrial systems. Descriptive statistics of compiled data from the completed surveys were calculated when appropriate.
