Mental Health Consequences of the COVID-19 Crisis on Frontline Healthcare Professionals: Psychological Impairments as a Result of Work-related Stress
Doina Popescu Ljungholm, Marilena Lavinia OlahABSTRACT. We draw on a substantial body of theoretical and empirical research on mental health consequences of the COVID-19 crisis on frontline healthcare professionals, and to explore this, we inspected, used, and replicated survey data from BMA, GWI, Holmes et al. (2020), IPPR, Ipsos MORI, MQ, and YouGov, performing analyses and making estimates regarding priority concerns about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on mental health. Structural equation modeling was used to analyze the data and test the proposed conceptual model.
