ABSTRACT. In the present paper, I focus on the Facebook use intensity, the development of Facebook addiction, and the impact of personal characteristics and motivation components on Facebook utilization and Facebook addictive tendency. The current study has extended past research by elucidating possible mechanisms forming the foundation of maladaptive models of Facebook usage, the role of personal psychological features in Facebook utilization, relevant psychological predictors for Facebook addiction, and the employment and interpersonal satisfactions of Facebook. pp. 182–188
